The next time you go on a date with a tall blonde who owns a Ford Mustang, beware.
In Ford's latest viral marketing effort, several unsuspecting men go on a date with such an attractive lady, who takes them for a ride in her scarlet muscle car. At first, it appears that she doesn't quite know how to drive the Mustang, prompting a number of "helpful" comments from the men – including "do you want me to drive?"
But just when they think they're about to endure a long spell in a car with a poorly skilled motorist, the blonde takes the Mustang into a deserted car park and opens up the throttle.
The resultant expressions on the dates' faces are priceless – but most of them seem to enjoy the high speed skidding and swerving.
It would be surprising if the lady didn’t have to call a breakdown insurance provider after all that.
At the end, the blonde reveals she is in fact a stunt driver and that the whole thing was a set-up by Ford.
Having racked up more than 4.5 million hits on YouTube in time for Valentine's Day, the marketing people at Ford should be pleased with their trickery.
An automotive Valentine's date not to forget, for sure.
