This year's Modball Rally will start in London, then head to the French cities of Paris and Lyon, before moving on to the Spanish cities of Barcelona and Denia, then over to Ibiza for the event's conclusion.
The 2,000 mile journey – dubbed a 'road trip adventure' rather than a race – will feature 150 high performance cars, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Aston Martins.
There is no prize for arriving in the Spanish party island first, plus no official timekeeping. Drivers will travel by day and arrive in Ibiza before sundown – where the final party will begin.
Dreamt up by Jon Joseph Bourgerie, the Modball Rally actually has events in the USA and Australia as well as Europe. All manner of sports and luxury car enthusiasts have flocked to Modball events since they began in 2007.
London's St James' Square became inaccessible last year, as scores of supercars began the now-famous road trip.
This year – the event’s eighth – will also feature models on a special bus (Girls on Tour), which may well add to the event's popularity.
Pall Mall will be the setting for 'the off' this year, which will take place on June 21, with participants arriving in Ibiza on June 25.
