With just two months to go until the famous Isle of Man TT race takes place, riders and fans are looking forward to another exciting event, which starts in May.
One of the more challenging aspects of the annual contest is the high rider death-toll. But that danger is arguably also one of the reasons it remains such a popular race.
A helmet camera video by seven-time TT winner Michael Dunlop reminds us why the TT requires such incredible levels of skill and concentration. The recording was made during the 2013 race and demonstrates Dunlop's considerable ability, as he rockets past stone dykes and solid houses, appearing to miss spectators by a matter of inches.
After making up lost ground with the two bikes in front of him, Dunlop affects an impressive manoeuvre on the Ramsey Hairpin, leaping from third to first.

These are the kinds of moments that make the Isle of Man TT so exciting to watch.
The TT course offers riders little in the way of safety measures, with few run-off areas and tyre barriers. Indeed, the raw, street-racing nature of the annual event has led to numerous deaths – totalling 240 between 1907 and 2009, including practice runs.
One of the more famous crashes involved Guy Martin, who was engulfed in fire while riding the course in 2010. With only broken ribs, a damaged vertebrae and lung, Martin is considered lucky in the TT fraternity.
Thankfully for most us – including many of our motorbike breakdown cover customers – enjoying the thrill of the TT only requires switching on the television.
The 2014 Monster Isle of Man TT begins on the 24th of May, lasting until the 6th of June.
