A woman has been left incensed after she returned to her car to find it had been broken into – so it could be moved to give access to a delivery van.
Ms Wasiuta, a beauty therapist in the town of Chorley, Lancashire, parked her Ford Fiesta in a small road between a railway line and an Aldi supermarket.
An Aldi delivery van found its route blocked by the car. Staff from the food store then spent four hours looking for the owner of the car. However, having failed to locate the driver, they finally resorted to breaking the window so they could move the vehicle out of the way.
Mr Wasiuta said there was no note explaining what had happened so she went to ask Aldi staff if they knew anything about the incident. There she was told that, having searched for her in vain - they also apparently contacted the local police in order to try and identify the owner – they smashed the window.
Ms Wasiuta was reported in Metro as having said: "There were no signs to say no parking or yellow lines so I assumed it would be ok. I’m just so angry.
"I got no apology and their attitude was terrible."
Moving the car was "a last resort", according to a spokesman for Aldi.

Police are treating the incident as criminal damage.
