A startrescue.co.uk story...

There are few types of personal transport that have not been developed for the super-rich, but until recently, the humble campervan was one of them. However, Austrian company Marchi Mobile has changed all that, having designed the world’s most expensive motorhome.

The EleMMent Palazzo comes in at 40 feet, and "represents exclusivity and extravagance that requires no explanation," explained Marchi Mobile.

Depending on your personal idea of beautiful design, the EleMMent Palazzo may be an audacious cocktail of ultra-modern design features and more classic elements; or it may look like something a child has made out of Lego having run out of regular shaped bricks.

Whatever you think of this vehicle, it undoubtedly offers a huge degree of comfort for the person or persons lucky enough to afford the £2m price tag. Oil sheikhs make up the core of Marchi Mobile’s target market, who will be able to enjoy two floors of luxury, with a futuristic driving cabin and a bold circular windscreen.

There is a central staircase connecting lower and upper floors, reminiscent of a 5 star hotel, while the master bedroom offers heated flooring, air conditioning, and a 40 inch TV.

If a buyer wishes to up the luxury a little bit more, they can choose the gold paint optional extra.

Palazzo's design "unites characteristics from motor, yachting and aviation sports", says the company.

It’s not yet clear if the Palazzo comes with free breakdown insurance – but at £2m, one would imagine such a piece of engineering would never break down in the first place.
