For most cars and for most destinations around the World, finding a suitable, annual breakdown cover policy is fairly straight forward. But as regards the Christmas special from the BBC's Topgear team, this might not be the case.
Clarkson, Hammond and May have been set one of their most challenging objectives to date: to restore the British economy. Not an easy task, and not one that appears to get any easier when you discover just how this trio of petrolheads intend to do it. Put simply, they see India as a nation with whom the British should be doing a lot more business - in fact the Prime Minister wants the UK to become a favoured trading partner for India. In order to help speed up this process, the team is driving across India with a view to promoting British goods and British services to Indians of every ilk.
And what are the UK-built vehicles they have chosen to drive as they explore the Indian sub-continent? Jeremy has used his 7 grand budget to buy a 1995 Jaguar XJS 4.0-litre, while Richard purchased a classic Mini Cooper. Eyebrows were raised however at James' selection: He was dead set on a Rolls Royce, which given the 7 thousand pound budget, would be not easy. In the end though, he found himself a 1976 Silver Shadow.
I'm sure we'll all be tuning in on the 28th December to see if the boys can help salvage the British economy. Fingers crossed they don't jeopardise the entire recovery!
